Satispay Meal Vouchers have denominations ranging from €1 to €25. The value of the Meal Voucher is determined directly by the employer or the self-employed professional using it for themselves.

For companies: You can decide the quantity of Meal Vouchers to purchase based on your needs, depending on the number of employees receiving them and the number of working days (maximum 1 Meal Voucher per worked day, excluding vacation and sick days).

For self-employed individuals with Partita IVA: You can decide the quantity of Meal Vouchers to purchase based on your needs to deduct expenses for food and beverages, up to a maximum amount of 2% of gross annual turnover.

Certainly, Satispay Meal Vouchers can be assigned to any type of employee, regardless of their working hours or activities.

For employers:

• The sum total of Meal Vouchers is 100% deductible for direct taxes.
• The 4% VAT is entirely deductible.

For self-employed individuals with Partita IVA (not under the flat-rate scheme):

• The sum total of Meal Vouchers is 75% deductible for direct taxes.
• The 10% VAT is entirely deductible, up to a maximum amount of 2% of annual turnover.

However, it is advisable to consult your tax consultant.

Satispay Meal Vouchers follow the same usage rules as all Meal Vouchers, including:

• They are not transferable; if not used, they cannot be given to another person.
• A maximum of 8 vouchers can be used per transaction.
• They cannot be converted into cash.
• They can only be used for the full face value; if the amount to be paid is less than the value of the voucher, the voucher cannot be used, and change cannot be received in cash, or the remaining value cannot be used for other transactions.

All usage rules are indicated in Article 4, paragraph 1, in Annex II.17 D.lgs. 36/2023.

1. Satispay Meal Vouchers are entirely digital and can be used by employees only through the Satispay app. If the employee does not already have an account on the Satispay app, they must download the app on their mobile device and register for the Satispay service for private customers.
   
   
2. The employee needs to enter the code they received at the request of their employer in the settings of the Satispay app to activate a section dedicated to their Meal Vouchers. In the "Meal Vouchers" section, the employee can view the Meal Vouchers loaded each month by their employer.
   
   
3. The employee can check the balance of their Meal Vouchers in the "Meal Vouchers" section and the list of affiliated shops in the "Shops" section by applying the "Meal Vouchers" filter.
   
   
4. The employee can pay in a single solution through the Satispay app, using both Satispay Meal Vouchers and the funds available in their Satispay Balance, in over 70,000 affiliated shops (at any time, including dinner and weekends).

Yes, employees will need to download the Satispay app on their mobile devices and register for the Satispay service for private customers. Employees can use the Satispay app even just to use Satispay Meal Vouchers at affiliated activities.

The expiration is set 24 months from the date of issuance. For example, if the Meal Voucher is issued on 01/06/2024, it will be valid until 31/05/2026.

You can purchase Satispay Meal Vouchers via bank transfer. In the "Payment Methods" section of the order summary screen, you will find instructions for correctly making the transfer to our dedicated bank account. This account is a Luxembourgish account (within the SEPA area) and must therefore be executed with the same costs that your bank charges for an equivalent national transfer (EU Regulation 1230/2021), generally for free.
